Live cuttings

Living hedges are natural barriers made up of trees and living shrubs. Although they are structures created to mark the edges of the lands and prevent the escape of livestock, paradoxically they are also transit zones for different mammals, birds, amphibians and insects, allowing connectivity between different spaces.

As if that were not enough, they are exceptional places to get food, take refuge or protect yourself from the wind. However, with the advent of industrialization our rural environment has undergone very significant changes due to the installation of buckthorn wires and electric pastors instead of hedges. Imagine the impact this has had on biodiversity!

So look at the living mushrooms that have been created to protect their functions and enrich biodiversity with linear closures made up of various evergreen and deciduous shrub species, as well as floral and fruit species from different seasons. This allows animals to have more protection and access to food during all times of the year.

We go down the road until we meet each other in front of the turret.
